UPDATED: Rivergreenway Detours

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Due to log removal near the Hosey Dam, the Rivergreenway detour during the North Anthony Bridge reconstruction is being rerouted.

Beginning Thursday, September 19, trail users will be directed to use the pedestrian ramp just north of the Hosey Dam, taking the sidewalk on North Anthony Blvd. to Cody Ave. At Cody, the detour runs east to Kensington Blvd., then south to Niagara Dr. At that point, proceed along Niagara Dr. to the access ramp where Pemberton and Niagara intersect. The ramp leads back up to the Maumee Pathway. This detour is expected to be in place until the middle of October. Once the log jams are removed and the Hosey Dam driveway is reopened, the detour will be rerouted back to Niagara Dr. around the bridge construction.

The Maumee Pathway between Pemberton Drive and the North River Road Trailhead will continue to be closed for resurfacing work on Monday and Tuesday, September 23rd and 24th, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm, due to weather delays.
