Fort Wayne, IN: Mayor Tom Henry is encouraging residents to volunteer at a new Project READS site opening soon in the McMillen Park Community Center, 3901 Abbott St. The City of Fort Wayne’s participation in the My Brother’s Keeper initiative, which emphasizes the importance of reading at grade level by third grade, helped bring the program to the community center.

Fort Wayne, IN— On Saturday, October 24th, Friends of the Parks of Allen County invites citizens to partner with area parks departments, businesses, neighborhoods, and community volunteers to plant new trees in our parks and public spaces during the Great Tree Canopy Comeback.

Fort Wayne, IN.: The Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce that Foster Park Golf Course will reopen on Friday, September 25. Fall fees will also be in place at the golf course on Friday, with nine holes of golf for $10 and eighteen holes for $16.
