City Golf Courses Opening Friday

Fort Wayne, Ind--McMillen, Shoaff and Foster Park Golf Courses will open on Friday, March 20 at noon. When inclement weather occurs, courses may close for a short period, or for the day, depending upon the severity of the weather. To check on course availability, call the golf course where you plan to play:

FIRST TEE GOLF PROGRAM IN FWCS

Program teaches character values through golf

Fort Wayne, IN—The Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department’s Lifetime Sports Academy is sponsoring the First Tee National School Program in 34 Fort Wayne Community Elementary Schools beginning this spring.

Taylor’s Dream Voted 21 out of 50 Best Playgrounds

Fort Wayne, IN—Early Childhood Education Zone chose Taylor’s Dream as one of the 50 Best Playgrounds in America. The playground, located in Kreager Park, was ranked number 21, and was the only playground in Indiana that made the list.
