Traditional Miami Lacrosse Stick Making

Lacrosse is the original game of North America and is one of the oldest sports in the western  hemisphere. Please join us around the campfire as a representative of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma discusses Miami history and culture while demon- strating the process of making a traditional Miami lacrosse stick using modern tools and techniques. This outdoor program is free to attend and open to all ages, but space is limited to 25 participants. Participants will meet at the campfire circle at Lindenwood Nature Preserve. Please call 427-6000 by July 5 to reserve your space. Min. 5. Max 25.
