Fort Wayne, IN: We were saddened to hear of the passing of Davy Jones today. All Davy Jones concert tickets purchased for the Foellinger Theatre June 9th performance will be fully refunded. Refunds are being processed. If you paid by credit card, your card will be credited. If you paid by cash or check, you will receive a check from the City ofFort Wayne within 30 days.

What’s Happening at the Botanical Conservatory in March

Down on the Fisher-Price Farm Exhibit: Through April 8

Bring the little ones down to the Conserva­tory this winter for a fun time on the farm, where children can play at gathering eggs, milking the cow, churning butter, making pies, hanging the wash, and tending the garden. Reminiscent of the old Fisher-Price farm set, the old red barn and 1954 Farmall tractor are the centerpieces of the exhibit.

“A Summer to Remember” Concert Series Revealed – Tickets on Sale Now!

Fort Wayne, Ind--Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll was joined by representatives from Sweetwater Sound, Visit Fort Wayne, and corporate and media sponsors as he announced “A Summer to Remember,” the 2012 summer concert line-up at Foellinger Theatre. Radio station Fun 101.7 WLDE is the media sponsor for the majority of concerts and broke the big announcement on-air this morning that the Theatre is featuring “An Evening with Huey Lewis and the News” on Friday, May 18.

Rivergreenway Detour Around Water Filtration Plant

Fort Wayne, Ind.The Rivergreenway will be closed at the Water Filtration Plant beginning Monday, February 20, 2012 until approximately July, 2013 due to construction at the plant. The detour will be in place at that time and was the same detour used in 2007 - 2009.  During the closure, trail users are asked to utilize the trail/sidewalk along Spy Run Avenue to Baltes Avenue, following the alley to Wagner Street, to Griswold Drive, to the St. Joe Pathway.

Fort Wayne,Ind.— Due to the inclement weather, Cooper, Weisser and Jennings Youth Centers will close today at 6 pm.
