Fort Wayne, IN— On Saturday, October 21st, Friends of the Parks of Allen County invites citizens to partner with area parks departments, businesses, neighborhoods, and community volunteers to plant new trees in our parks and public spaces during the 16th annual Great Tree Canopy Comeback.


Riverfront Fort Wayne Film Series: Troop Beverly Hills

Saturday, September 30, 7:30 pm, FREE

Activities begin at 6:30 pm

Are you ready to rough it? Come to the most fabulous jamboree in Fort Wayne! (No bark eating required.) We will be testing both your wilderness and your Beverly Hills skills with a variety of activities—you can even earn patches! Then, we’ll gather ‘round the campfire, pass around the Girl Scout cookies, and enjoy our favorite hometown actress, Shelley Long. Feel free to bring your own chair or blankets and don’t forget something to munch on! Activities being at 6:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Free parking available. No RSVP necessary. All ages and wardrobes welcome. Sponsored by Fort Wayne’s CW, YLNI and Magic 95.1.

$1 Night

First Thursday of the month

October 5, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

The Conservatory is open on the first Thursday night of the month for a discounted admission of just $1 per person. During each $1 Night you can also drop in to our program room for a fun and educational lecture or activity. No reservations required. We validate parking tickets from the Civic Center Parking Garage for free parking. For more information, call (260) 427-6440.
