Santa’s Workshop at the Community Center

Start   your   downtown   celebration   at   the Community Center with free holiday activities for the kids. There will be crafts, refresh- ments and movies. Donate a new or gently used bear and enter a drawing to win a giant elf bear. Kids can shop for inexpensive holiday gifts for $3 or less at the North Pole Stop-n-Shop. Mom and Dad can shop too, our Community Center patrons have been crafting holiday items to sell in the Crafter’s Corner. Finally, check out the light display on the Community Center roof when  we turn on the lights at 6:00. Sponsors:

Holly Trolley Santa Workshop

Holly Trolley Shopping

Saturday, November 28, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Community Center, 233 W. Main St.

Celebrate Small Business Day November 28 and hop a Trolley to the Community Center’s  Craft Show at 233 W. Main St. from 11:00 am-5:00 pm.  We will have approximately 30 vendors with homemade items for sale, soap, fabric items, jewelry, cards, hot pads and ornaments to mention a few.  This is in conjunction with the Downtown Holly Trolley.

The Downtown Development District will sponsor the Holly Trolley Shopping Day, November 28 11:00 am-5:00 pm. Downtown shopping will be made easier on this day with free trolley rides along the route. Be sure to stop by the Community Center Craft Show on your shopping tour.

We are looking for crafters to rent tables for this event.  Tables are available for $20.00 for a 6 ft. table. Interested people should contact Linda Falater at 427-6466 by November 16.

Sleigh bells ring at Salomon Farm Park during our Christmas on the farm! Get bundled up and bring your family out to the farm for live music, horse drawn wagon rides, a craft for the kids, a visit from Father Christmas, holiday vendors and more at this traditional Christmas celebration. Join us for an afternoon at the movies! All features are family-friendly and shown right here at the Community Center.  Admission is just $1! Popcorn and a beverage is included. Adults must be accompanied by at least one child over the age of 3. Call 427-6460 to reserve a spot. All movies are rated PG.

Winter Carnival

Beat the winter blahs by bringing the whole family out for snow crafts and activities, ice carving demonstrations and yummy treats to warm you inside and out. If there’s no snow, the fun will move indoors.  It’s all FREE!

Book Sales

Book sales are open to the public and feature hardback books, paperback books and DVDs. (Donations are accepted through the Wednesday before the sale.)
