The Farmin’ Fun Day Camp provides summer fun for boys and girls ages 4 and older. Activities include environmental exploration, arts and crafts, farming and gardening, animal care, games and much more. The garden will be abundant with vegetables to harvest and sell, the pygmy goats will be caring for new babies and you’ll meet other animal residents . . . donkeys, sheep, goats and chickens! Join us for fun on the farm! With so much to see and do, you won’t want to miss a minute.
Six weekly sessions will be offered beginning June 17. (No camp will be held the week of July 1-5.) Hours are 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. for ages 6 and older and 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for ages 4-5. Before and after camp care is available. We also offer a “Farmers-in-Training” (FIT) program for ages 11 and older.

|
On Fridays from 4-6 pm during camp we offer an Open House for parents to visit the Farm.
Check out our On-line photo Album below.
Make sure you meet our counselors during your tour. We are excited to show you around camp!
Let's check out the garden...
Don't forget to see the "new" barns which are full of wheat, straw and hay and other farming equipment.

We rely on many groups to make our crops and gardens possible. Perhaps some day you will want to volunteer at Salomon and be part of the gardening crew. We can always use volunteers.
While you are touring, be sure to notice the newest "barn" which is the Blacksmith shop. During special events the building is open for you to check out this exciting hobby. Classes are also available.

| Our chicken coop is bursting with CHICKENS! Depending on the weather they may stay in the "hen house" or venture outside. |

Next stop is a visit to see our pygmy goats...

Off to see the "old barn" which was built in 1871. Rent the old barn for your next private event. Visit the old barn during one of our special events, come on a Wednesday to the Farmer's Market or enjoy it during camp.

Next stop is a visit to see the goats, the sheep and the cows...who can resist taking
photos...

If you haven't done so already, make sure you take a hay ride and explain to your parents all of the Salomon legends.
Our tour winds up with a walk back to the Nature Center where you can enjoy some cool treats.
We had so much fun at camp-it is hard to say, "good bye"! Don't forget to sign up NOW so you won't miss any of the
