Volunteer Opportunities

Salomon Farm Garden Volunteer Orientation
Saturday, March 14, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Salomon Farm Park Learning Center
817 W. Dupont Rd.

Salomon Farm Park has two gardens and an orchard that are planned, grown and harvested completely by a group of dedicated volunteers! The produce is shared amongst the volunteers, sold at our Farmer’s Market to benefit the gardens and serves as a focal point for teaching children and adults about composting, gardening and enjoying a variety of locally grown produce. The gardeners meet every Monday and Thursday morning from April-October. You do not have to commit to the whole season or all of the days to participate! If you are interested in volunteering in Salomon Park’s gardens, please attend our volunteer orientation to learn more about what goes on in the gardens. You will meet some current volunteers, get a tour of the gardens and learn where we need help. Please call Karla Yauchler at 427-6008 by March 9 if you plan to attend the orientation.
