Please be aware, during or following a rainfall, portions of the trail network may be muddy and/or slippery. Please slow down and use caution, especially on boardwalks.  Always use caution whenever you encounter a wet section of trail.

Upcoming Trail Closures and Detours:

St. Joseph Pathway - December 12, 2016 thru June 2017 - St. Joseph Pathway along Spy Run Ext

The St. Joseph Pathway will be closed between State Blvd to Parnell Ave with a detour this winter and coming spring while AEP moves forward with their Powering Up Central project, installing new poles and power lines along the Spy Run Ext Corridor and further north to Robison Park. As we get closer to the trail closure and detour, we will update this page with more information.

St. Marys Pathway- December 12, 2016 to early 2017- St. Marys Pathway between Main St and Sherman Blvd/Van Buren St

The boardwalk between Main St and Sherman Blvd will be closed for rehabilitation.    There will be a detour during the trail closure using sidewalks on Van Buren and Main to circumvent the work.

Future Trail Detours or Closures:

Maumee Pathway - This winter - west of N. River Rd Trailhead and west of Coliseum Blvd

City Utilities will be cleaning some sewer interceptors near the Maumee Pathway.  At this time, we are unsure whether the trail will be impacted.  There are 2 work areas on/near the trails:  1. About 1/4 mile west of the N. River Rd Trailhead.  2. Just west of Coliseum Blvd.  The project will take place later this summer.  The website will be updated with information as it becomes available.

Maumee Pathway - Late winter - Trail along Edgewater Ave from Delta Blvd to the Morton St

City Utilities will be working on a sewer separation project along Edgewater Ave and the levee just east of Delta Blvd.  Trail traffic will be shifted to the street or north sidewalk along Edgewater in the area of impact, from Delta to Morton.  The project is going to start in late fall or early winter.
