Trail Closures and Detours

 Please be aware, during or following a rainfall, portions of the trail network may be muddy and/or slippery. Please slow down and use caution, especially on boardwalks.  Always use caution whenever you encounter a wet section of trail.   

Trail Closures and Detours due to Construction:  

St. Marys Pathway -  Closed for Riverfront Development,     Phase I Construction from September 5, 2017 thru all of 2018 - St. Marys Pathway is closed from the east side of the Harrison St Bridge and the Historic Wells St. Bridge 

To begin the first phase of the riverfront development, a segment of the St. Marys Pathway will undergo a detour during the construction period.  The trail will be closed beginning on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 and it will remain closed until the Promenade Park is constructed.  Please follow the sidewalk detour using 3rd St, crossing Wells St and going south on the sidewalk on the west side of Wells St to reconnect with the St. Marys Pathway in East Bloomingdale Park (or vice versa!).  Detour Route Map

Maumee Pathway - Section detoured to sidewalk on north side of edgewater From Delta Blvd to the Morton St 

City Utilities will be working on a sewer separation project along Edgewater Ave and the levee just east of Delta Blvd.  The contractor is currently working on restoration work.  Detour Route Map

St. Joseph Pathway along Spy Run Ext - January thru September 2017 - Open with Intermittent Closures  

The St. Joseph Pathway will have intermittent closures between State Blvd to Parnell Ave with a detour this year. AEP's Powering Up Central Project will install new poles and power lines along the Spy Run Corridor and further north to Robison Park. The construction crew will close the trail in short segments and allow trail users to use the street or providing the alternative detour route on the east side of the river. Detour Route Map

Upcoming Trail Closure:

On Wednesday, 9/27 and Tuesday, 9/26, the Maumee Pathway on the Columbia Street Bridge near Clay will be closed for boring and concrete trail replacement work.  This section of trail will reopen on Friday, 9/29.
