City Utilities will be cleaning a sewer interceptor along the Maumee Pathway. The trail will be closed for the duration of the project which will likely take 1 month to complete. No detour will be available.
The boardwalk between Main St and Sherman Blvd will be closed for rehabilitation. There will be a detour during the trail closure using sidewalks on Van Buren and Main to circumvent the work. When work is not underway, the trail will be open, including in the evenings and on weekends.
The St. Joseph Pathway will be closed between State Blvd to Parnell Ave with a detour this winter and spring, while AEP moves forward with their Powering Up Central Project, installing new poles and power lines along the Spy Run Corridor and further north to Robison Park.
City Utilities will be working on a sewer separation project along Edgewater Ave and the levee just east of Delta Blvd. Trail traffic will be shifted to the street or north sidewalk along Edgewater in the area of impact, from Delta to Morton. The project is going to start in late fall or early winter.
To begin the first phase of the riverfront development, a segment of the St. Marys Pathway will undergo a detour during the construction period. It is currently estimated the trail will be closed and detoured from July 2017 through the end of 2018. As more information becomes available, we will update this page.
