The "Obama Quilt" as we of Sisters of the Cloth Quilting Guild call it, was inspired by the election of Mr. Barak Obama to the office of President of the United States of America.  It was designed by Mrs. Kathleen Fincher and constructed by several guild members. It features many individuals who were instrumental in paving the way not only for Mr. Obama, but for all minorities. The "Obama Quilt" symbolizes the success of pursuing the cause of equality for everyone-but there is much more to be done.
