Welcome to the Japanese planting art form of Kokedama: Moss balls! You will learn a bit about the history of Kokedama and then make your own moss ball planting to take home. Come dressed to “play in the dirt” with Advanced Master Gardener Deb Kohlmeier as she leads you through the step-by-step process of this very unique and beautiful form of living art. Please bring scissors and your favorite light-weight gardening gloves or rubber gloves. All other necessary materials will be provided - including the plants! Ages 10+ (17 & under must be accompanied by an adult). Registration deadline: June 6. $19/public; $13/Conservatory member or volunteer. Min 10. Max 20.
