OUR MISSION

OUR MISSION: TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE ALL CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF FORT WAYNE TO CREATE AND SUSTAIN HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICES TO REACH OPTIMUM WELLNESS IN BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT.

Operation F4 (Fight for a Fitter Fort) is a local movement endorsed by the City of Fort Wayne that not only encourages Fort Wayne citizens to make healthier choices, but also guides them to creating lifelong healthy habits for every generation. We are taking action against inactivity, damaging eating habits, and the attitude that we'll do it "someday." That day is today!

The HEALing Kitchen Class focused on teaching Foster Grandparents how to cook healthy and inexpensive meals with fresh produce from the Community Center’s 9  raised vegetable beds, farmers’ markets and  other local markets. In addition to healthier cooking for their own families, it is hoped this knowledge will improve meal preparation in the families served by Foster Grandparents.
