Fort Wayne, Ind.— Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll today announced that Chad Tinkel, Superintendent of Urban Forestry, has accepted a position with American Electric Power (AEP) and will be leaving the Parks & Recreation Department on June 3.
Derek Veit, a certified arborist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry from Purdue University, will be promoted to the position of Superintendent of Urban Forestry and City Arborist. Derek has worked for the Parks & Recreation Department for 11 years.
