Fort Wayne, IN—Registration for the following Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation day camps is now open:

City Safari Day Camp
Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun St.

Come explore the city and discover fun in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. Each week of camp incorporates a different theme through field trips, guest speakers, activities, games and arts and crafts.


Kids will do a little gardening and compare life inside and outside the city. Camp also includes a Citilink bus ride to Northside pool for some fun in the sun. Join us for one week or all six as we explore downtown, admire wild animals up close, make art and learn how life was way back when. Pick your weeks and get your adventure started. For those entering grades 1- 6 in fall 2017. Six weeks available--June 12 through July 28. Fee: $115; Pre/Post Camp Care FREE.

The Farmin’ Fun Day Camp
Salomon Farm Park, 817 W. Dupont Rd.

The camp integrates hands-on farming such as gardening and animal care, cooperative games, and nature exploration. Ages 4 – 18. Six weeks available--June 12 through July 28.  Fee: $57 - $90; AM or PM Camp Care: $25.

Franke Park Day Camp
Franke Park, 3411 Sherman Blvd.

An enjoyable outdoor experience in a wooded setting which fosters cooperation through learning, playing, working, problem solving, and socializing with an emphasis on basic camping skills, nature education and Native American lore. Ages 4 – 18. Six weeks available-June 12 through July 28.  Fee: $70 - $90; AM and PM Camp Care: $25. 

River Camp

Shoaff Park Riverlodge, 6401 St. Joe Rd.

The camp emphasizes the role our rivers have played in the history of our city and how they are still used today utilizing games, water activities, canoeing and even science experiments. Ages 8 – 12. One week available--August 7 through 11.  Fee: $115.

You may register your child for day camp online at www.fortwayneparks.org or in person at the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department Administrative Office, 705 E. State Blvd.  Registration forms (available online or by calling 260-427-6000) may also be filled out and mailed in, faxed to 260-427-6020, or dropped off. A 24-hour drop box is located at the entrance of the Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Administrative office.
