Fort Wayne, IN: The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory is in need of donated evergreen trees for the upcoming Holiday Garden Exhibit: Snow Days, which will run November 18 – January 7.
Trees of any size will be considered as long as our Forestry crew can easily access the area where the tree is located with the large trucks we use during the tree cutting process. Trees also need to be healthy looking from top to bottom and all around the sides of the tree. Lynda and her crew will examine each tree and if the tree is chosen, the Parks & Recreation Department will cut the tree as close to the ground as possible and clean up the area. The stump will not be removed. Trees will be cut the week of November 6th.
