Southern Indiana Shopping

Join us for a day of shopping in southern Indiana! We begin in the quaint shops of Nashville and end at the Edinburgh Premium Outlets. In Nashville, enjoy such delights as stores selling watercolor paintings, sculpture, toys from yesterday, stained glass art, custom jewelry and even custom bird lodgings. Check out the women’s boutiques and enjoy a mouth-watering lunch in one of the local restaurants.  After lunch, we are off to the outlets where you will receive a shopping bag and valuable coupons for your shopping adventure. A continental breakfast is served en route with a fast-food supper stop (on your own) on the way home.

Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan is our destination for the day. Step back into the past as we tour the 80-acre community of old buildings and memorabilia. You will be enchanted as the Village comes alive with the unforgettable sights, sounds and settings of America’s past. Try out one of the delicious restaurants for lunch. An all-day Ride Pass is included for use on the old-time transportation. Chicago Shopping


Catch the Holiday Spirit! Join our “shop till you drop” trips to festively decorated stores in downtown Chicago, or attend any one of the number of special Christmas activities going on during the holiday season in the city. Don’t miss “The Christkindlemart”taking place throughout the Christmas Season on Daley Plaza, or The “One of a Kind Show” at the Merchandise Mart with our own local artist Dawn DeSanto from “Hand Jive” on the 2nd of December. The coach will drop off and pick up at a central loca- tion between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street, near Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River. A continental breakfast will be served en route. Lunch in Chicago and a fast-food stop on the way home are on your own.

47th Sauerkraut Festival


Yes, that’s right! It’s the Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville, OH where everything is made from sauerkraut – fudge, ice cream, pizza, donuts, cookies, egg rolls . . . You name it they make it! Besides the huge selection of food products, the fair has 450 artisans from 28 states with booths selling wreaths, baskets, flowers, crafts, jewelry, clothing, toys, soaps, lotions, ceramic, metal and wood items, etc. A continental breakfast is served en route with a supper stop (on your own) on the way home.

Parke County Covered Bridge Festival


Indiana’s  largest  festival  brings  together  all communities in Parke County as they showcase the 31 historic covered bridges that have made this county the Covered Bridge Capital of the World. This year, we will visit five of the bridges as we move through the countryside stopping off at some of the small towns to sample their wares. The area is transformed into a shopper’s paradise with food, arts, crafts, clothing, holi- day gifts and baked goods. A continental break- fast will be served en route. Lunch and a fast food stop on the way home are on your own.

Purdue Christmas Show


Board our “sleigh” for a trip to West Lafayette and a matinee performance of Purdue Univer- sity’s 83rd Anniversary Christmas Show! This popular musical extravaganza, with its inno- vative staging, choreography and costuming promises to put you in the holiday mood. As always the inspirational Cantata is a fitting trib- ute to the blessed season. An elegant luncheon will be served just for us at the historic Honey- well House in Wabash on the way. A guided tour of this beautiful mansion, filled with unique fur- niture and objects of art, will precede our meal. In spirit, Mrs. Honeywell’s renowned reputa- tion as a hostess continues. A supper stop on your own will be made on the way home.

Cancellation Information

All Cancellations on day trips are subject to a $5 or 10% (whichever is greater) per person cancellation fee. Cancellations made within one week of departure will be refunded only if replacements can  be  found.  There  are no refunds for NO-SHOWS. All day trips include the service of a Travel Service escort, motorcoach transportation and all necessary gratuities, including those to the escort and motorcoach driver. All trips feature NO SMOKING on the motorcoaches.
