Chicago Cubs Baseball
Cubs fans, the long awaited baseball season is here and we’ve planned four motorcoach trips to Chicago’s historic Wrigley Field. Lower terrace seats are reserved for each game to watch all your favorite players in action as they battle National League teams! A box lunch and beverage (included) is provided en route to the ball- park. A fast food stop (on your own) will be made on the way home.

Naperville, Illinois Riverwalk Art Show and Festival

Located just 30 miles west of Chicago in affluent DuPage County, visitors travel from far and near to enjoy the splendor of the Riverwalk and the quaint restaurants and shops in downtown Naperville. Come spend a delightful fall day with us browsing through the many booths located along the Riverwalk Way, shopping in the quaint shops or enjoying lunch at one of the local restaurants. Country Living Fair in Columbus, OH

The pages of your Country Living Magazine come alive at the 10th Annual Country Living Fair at Ohio Village in Columbus, Ohio. See more than 200 of your favorite antique dealers, crafters and artisans for a day of great shopping, free seminars, demonstrations and fantastic food. Be sure to stop by the Country Living General Store and photo booth sometime during your visit to say hi and meet the staff. A fast food stop will be made on the way home (on your own).

Nashville, Indiana

We’re headed to Nashville in  southern  Indiana where we will leisurely browse through the quaint shops. See watercolor paintings, sculpture, toys from yesterday, stained glass art, solid wood furniture, wood carvings, metal art, pewter, hand-blown glass, custom jewelry, wind chimes and even custom bird lodgings. A continental breakfast will be served en route with a fast-food supper stop (on your own) on the way home.

Fall Visit to Chicago

Choose your pleasure today as you take in the sights and sounds of the Windy City! Stop at the Wine Festival at Buckingham Fountain where you will be able to sample over 300 different wines or the Windy City BBQ Classic at the South Lot of Soldier Field where you’ll enjoy all you can eat BBQ rib tasting, craft beer, live blues music and cooking demonstrations. The Berghoff Octoberfest at Dearborn and South Adams is another exciting option or experience the World Music Festival (free at various ven- ues). Shoppers may enjoy browsing the shops along the Magnificent Mile or the stores in the Loop. Meander through museums, stroll through Millennium Park, visit Navy Pier or ride a river cruise or a sightseeing bus. The choice is yours today! The coach will drop off and pick up at a central location between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street near Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River. Meijer Garden in Grand Rapids

Our day in Grand Rapids, Michigan starts off with a visit to the new Grand Rapids Outdoor Market where you can browse through the goodies and crafts and then pick a spot for lunch (on your own). The Market is Gold LEED certified (the first in the nation) and features a green roof, live walls, geothermal wells, rain gardens and plenty of other innovative sustainable features. In the afternoon we are off to Mejier Garden where we will spend the rest of our day. A ride on the tram (included) will allow even those who do not feel up to the walk to see all the sights of the beautifully landscaped area. A continental breakfast will be served en route and a fast food stop for supper (on your own) will be made on the way home.

46th Annual Sauerkraut Festival

Yes, there is a Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville, Ohio, where many of the foods do indeed contain sauerkraut! Feast on sauerkraut pizza, fudge, donuts, cookies and pies, German sundaes and egg rolls, cabbage rolls, polish cab- bage soup and, of course, several pork and sauerkraut   combinations.   Many   non-kraut items  are  also  available.  Besides  the  huge selection of food, the fair welcomes over 450 artisans from 28 states every year to sell hand- crafted items such as wreaths, baskets, flowers, crafts, jewelry, clothing, toys, soaps, lotions, ceramics, metal and wood items. A Continental Breakfast is served en route. A supper stop (on your own) will be made on the way home.

Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL

“Christmas Dinner” at Blue Gate Theatre

We’re off  to Shipshewana  and  the Blue  Gate Theatre for “Christmas Dinner,” the hilarious new musical about family tradition, holiday expectations, unexpected guests and the REAL meaning of Christmas (football?!?). A continental breakfast will be served en route and a family style lunch is included after the show. We’ll spend some time after lunch visiting the shops in Shipshewana.

White Christmas: The Musical

Celebrate the holiday season with Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” the merry and bright stage production  based  on  the  classic  silver  screen romantic  comedy  packed  with  Irving  Berlin favorites like Blue Skies, Count your Blessings, I Love a Piano and of course White Christmas. Our destination is the Drury Theatre in Chi- cago. Continental breakfast will be served en route. Lunch before the show is included and a fast food stop (on your own) will be made on the way home.

Cancellation Information

All Cancellations on day trips are subject to a $5 or 10% (whichever is greater) per person cancellation fee. Cancellations made within one week of departure will be refunded only if replacements can  be  found.  There  are no refunds for NO-SHOWS. All day trips include the service of a Travel Service escort, motorcoach transportation and all necessary gratuities, including those to the escort and motorcoach driver. All trips feature NO SMOKING on the motorcoaches.
