Parks & Recreation Director Al Moll joined Audubon Society Vice President Jeff Canada, Audubon Society Member Dave Fox, Little River Wetlands Project Education Coordinator Liz Hincks, Bob Walton from Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab, and children from Franke Park Elementary School to celebrate Fort Wayne’s designation as the fifth Bird Town Indiana by the Indiana Audubon Society.

Overpricing ZZ Top Tickets for Foellinger Theatre

 

Fort Wayne, IN: The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department has been contacted by several patrons who have unintentionally entered online ticket scalping sites to purchase ZZ Top tickets for their October 8th concert at Foellinger Theatre. Often the ticket prices on the scalper sites are much higher than the Parks & Recreation Department sells them for. ZZ Top tickets are $49 - $99.

Free program has served 23,750 children

--Today marked the successful completion of the Lifetime Sports Academy’s 17th summer with more than 1,000 participants this year and a total of 23,750 participants over the last 17 years. Group lessons in the lifetime sports of golf, tennis and swimming were offered to boys and girls, ages 8 – 18.
