Fort Wayne, Ind--Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll was joined today by Mayor Tom Henry and corporate and media sponsors as he announced the 2014 summer concert lineup at Foellinger Outdoor Theatre: “You’ve Been Waiting…for a Summer Like This!” 

Saturday, April 26, 2 – 6 pm

Fort Wayne, IN.: Tuskegee Airman Leslie Edwards will share stories of his experiences during World War II, and inspiring words about the virtue of hard work, in a family-friendly presentation on April 26, 2 – 6 pm at Weisser Park Youth Center, 802 Eckart Street. Edwards will also show a short preview of the documentary “Double Victory,” a video about the challenges faced by Tuskegee airmen. The community is invited to attend this free event hosted by the Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department’s Neighborhood Programs. Refreshments will be served.

City Golf Courses NOW Open 

Fort Wayne, Ind--McMillen, Shoaff and Foster Park Golf Courses opened for the season on Friday, March 28 at noon. To check on course availability, call the golf course where you plan to play:

Thursday, April 3, 5 – 8 pm

On the first Thursday night of the month the Botanical Conservatory in downtown Fort Wayne offers $1 admissions, 5-8 pm, for adults and children. Babies and up to age 2 are still admitted free.
