Foster Park Pavilion #2 has been repaired and the safety fence will be removed later today. The public will be able to access the pavilion after 7 pm this evening. The pavilion was damaged on April 29 when high wind gusts caused a tree to fall on the structure.
Mayor Tom Henry and the Parks & Recreation Department’s Employee Task Force presented a check for $3,085.50 to the Community Harvest Food Bank today. Five hundred, eighty-five dollars and fifty-two cents were collected from patrons of the Hotel California concert at Foellinger Theatre Saturday, May 24. The balance of almost $2,500 came from concert proceeds.

Fort Wayne, IN: The Foellinger Theatre at Franke Park is kicking off its summer season May 24th with a Hotel California concert and a special collection for the Community Harvest Food Bank. This collection is coordinated by the Employee Task Force for Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation, and is one of many service efforts the employees have been responsible for.
