Get the violin you played in high school out of the attic and come join our “orchestra” for adults (2+ years of experience is preferred) that just want to have fun making music and learning to play again. You will need to bring your instrument and a music stand. We will provide the sheet music. Modeled after the Scottish Really Terrible Orchestra, a group of friends who just wanted to get together and play, this class will have some instruction as well as “rehearsal” time as a group. If you are an adult beginner taking lessons, you are welcome to enroll. String players are especially needed, but all are welcome. When registering for the class, please let us know what instrument you will be playing. Ages 18+. Instructor Debra Graham is a member of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and directs the Northeast Indiana Talent Education beginning and intermediate ensembles and has taught elementary through middle school orchestras for over 30 years. Registration deadline: September 14. Min. 10. Max. 25.
