Salomon Farm Volunteer Orientation

Salomon Farm Park relies on volunteers to care for the animals and to plant and tend the veg- etable gardens and orchard (April-October). Volunteers must be 18 years of age or accom- panied by a guardian. We accept a limited num- ber of youth volunteers (ages 12+). If you are interested in volunteering with the animals or  in the garden, please plan to attend the appro- priate volunteer orientation. Some experience with animals is preferred of our animal care volunteers, however, training will be provided. Garden volunteers meet every Monday and Thursday morning from April through October and share in the garden produce. You do not have to commit to the whole season or for every scheduled work day and no previous gardening experience is required. Both orientations will  be held in the Learning Center, the first build- ing upon entering the park.
