Evergreens Needed for Botanical Conservatory’s Holiday Show

Fort Wayne, IN: The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory is in need of donated evergreen trees for the upcoming Holiday Garden Exhibit “Victorian Christmas,” which will run November 17 – January 6.

Trees need to be healthy looking from top to bottom and around all sides of the tree. Especially needed are evergreen trees at least 10' in size. The tree needs to be accessible to large equipment and the tree will be cut to the ground but stumps will not be removed. Those who would like to donate a tree that fits the criteria should contact Lynda Heavrin at 260-427-6424 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Lynda and her crew will examine each tree and if selected, the Parks and Recreation Department will cut the tree and clean up the area, leaving the stump. Trees will be cut the week of November 5.

***CORRECTION*** The November 15 event is scheduled to be held at Faith Methodist Church, not Cooper Youth Center.
