Rental Opportunities 

Salomon Farm now offers two rental opportunities. The Barn rental is the perfect setting for weddings, receptions, reunions and other special events and the Learning Center is available for small business and community meetings.

Barn Rental

This magnificent old building sits majestically along Dupont Road on a small working farm operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. The peaceful, bucolic setting includes a pond, wetlands, livestock pens, vegetable gardens, prairie grasses and crop fields. The barn, originally built in the late 1800’s, housed livestock and stored farm equipment and served the farm for over 100 years. The newly renovated structure features a large seating area for up to 120 persons and a separate room for the catering operation. A separate but adjacent building houses the restrooms. The Old Barn may be reserved from mid May-mid October. Rental fees begin as low as $260 for 6 hours or $460 for 12 hours (10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.). You can now view the Alcohol Special Use Policy that pertains to the rental of certain park facilities, including Salomon Barn, if interested.

Barn Dedication

On October 4, 2006 there was a special dedication of the renovated historic barn built in 1871.Below is a photo from this special occasion.
