FUN at the Youth Centers this Summer!

Monday-Friday     June 2-August 1     Ages 5-17

AM Session: 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | PM Session: 1:00-4:30 p.m.

The Parks and Recreation Department offers FREE supervised fun all summer long for youth ages 5-17. Youth enjoy arts & crafts, games, challenges, music, STEM projects, recreational sports and lessons, gardening, earned field trips and youth development sessions. The morning sessions begins with breakfast at 9:00 and the afternoon session begins at 1:00 p.m. immediately following lunch (provided by Fort Wayne Community Schools at 12:30 p.m.)

Due to space limitations, participants may register for only one session and must choose either morning or afternoon. If space becomes available in either session, parents will be notified and additional registrations will be allowed.

Youth Centers will be closed June 19 & 20, Juneteenth and July 3 & 4, Independence Day.

JC Fitness Studio is located inside the Jennings Recreation Center at 1330 McCulloch St.

Classes are FREE and all fitness levels are welcome. Call Chanell at 427-6701 for more information and to reserve your spot.

Jennings Center continues to fulfill its unique mission, by providing activities for people of all ages in such areas as athletics, club organization, crafts, skill development and food service. All activities are supervised by a highly committed and trained staff. All programs are free.

Summer 75th Anniversary Celebration

We celebrated a successful 75th Anniversary Celebration in 2023!  We started off the morning with a Press Conference where our children presented the Mayor with special art work that he will keep in the Mayor's Office (check out the link to learn more) and ended with a carnival complete with horse and buggy rides, a petting zoo, carnival games, a virtual reality play station, face painting, and of course lots of FOOD and dessert!
