The City of Fort Wayne is committed to the preservation and protection of its publicly owned trees as demonstrated by existing ordinances.  

In short, no party shall negatively impact any City owned tree in any way without the approval of The Superintendent of Forestry Operations. 

This includes, but is not limited to, the damaging of tree roots, trunk, and limbs. 

No party shall perform any maintenance practice on a city owned tree except with the permission of the Superintendent of Forestry Operations.
