                                             63rd Annual Wassail Celebration: Let’s Celebrate Christmas

Sunday, December 6, 4 – 6 pm

Jennings Recreation Center,1330 McCulloch St.

Wassailing is an ancient custom that involves toasting to good health. This free community event is a good way to kick off the holiday season. There will be performances reminiscent of Wassail’s past and cookies will be served, along with the traditional nonalcoholic Wassail punch.

“A North Woods Christmas”Garden Exhibit

Imagine the charm of a North Woods cabin during the holidays: nestled into a snow-drifted evergreen and birch forest, the homestead is preparing for Christmas. Indoors, the rustic table is set for our couple, who may be off checking traps, drawing water, or gathering twigs, moss, cones and grapevine for decoration.

Fort Wayne, IN—A dedication ceremony and launch took place this afternoon for the second completed restoration project of the Community Hoops program, sponsored by partners Purdue Athletics and Managed Health Services (MHS). This program is restoring and rebuilding basketball courts in communities across Indiana.

Fort Wayne, Ind— Foster Park Golf Course will be closed for the season beginning Thursday, November 12. Until then, reduced fall fees are in place: $10 for 9 holes and $16 for 18.
