Fort Wayne, Ind.— Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll today announced that Chad Tinkel, Superintendent of Urban Forestry, has accepted a position with American Electric Power (AEP) and will be leaving the Parks & Recreation Department on June 3.

Sunday Concert at Foellinger Theatre Cancelled

Fort Wayne, IN.: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Youth Symphony & Concert Orchestra has cancelled their performance at Foellinger Theatre. This free concert was scheduled for Sunday, May 15 at 4 pm.

        New Manager Named for Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory

Chad Shaw promoted from Landscape & Horticulture

Fort Wayne, IN — The Fort Wayne Board of Park Commissioners announced today that Chad Shaw has been promoted to the position of Manager of the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory. Shaw, a native of Bluffton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Saint Francis and a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Ball State University, has been with the Park Department since November of 2013 serving as the Supervisor of Landscape and Horticulture.
