Shoaff Park River Lodge pavilion
Start the New Year with a chilly (chili) and challenging cycling adventure! The ride on city streets and Greenway paths “fits most” with distance options from 5 to 20 miles.
We will depart from the Shoaff Park River Lodge promptly at 1PM. Our longer route will include a mid-ride stop at Johnny Appleseed Park to watch the polar bear swimmers plunge into the river. A small snack will be provided before heading back to the river lodge. All routes will return to the lodge for a steaming bowl of chili to help you warm up and tasty accompaniments to entice your tastebuds. All food items are provided by the Three Rivers Velo Sport club members.
Allow ample time before the ride starts to unload your bike/s, sign a waiver form and “gear up” for a winter ride. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED to participate in this event. Route maps will be provided at the ride. For more information about the ride please visit the 3RVS bike club’s website at www.3rvs.com.
This FREE program is co-sponsored by the Three Rivers Velo Sport (3RVS) bicycling club and the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department. Donations however are always welcome and appreciated.
