The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department does offer non-competitive t-ball training and non-competitive lob ball training for youth.  Information on our programs may be found in the Summer Fun Times.  All brochures are posted on-line upon release. You can also register for our programs online by clicking here

Children must meet the age requirement set for each program.  Franke Park Day Camp cut off date is June 1st, the Junior and Pee Wee Golf cut off date is July 1st and for all other programs the children must be the minimum age by the time of the first session of the program.

We strive to provide excellent programs and services of interest to the community. In order to achieve this goal, we monitor all our programs and make changes according to what you, our customer, wants. You will be given an opportunity to complete an evaluation at the end of the program. Please share your input with us so we can see how we are doing toward meeting our goal.

Our instructors receive excellent ratings. In fact, in terms of our children's programs, our instructors for our summer programs received excellent/good ratings from 92%-99% of our respondents!  We pride ourselves on hiring high quality staff that are excellent instructors.

Golf Memberships are available for all of our golf courses.  Check out each individual course for their current rates: Foster, McMillen or Shoaff.

Disc golf opportunities are available in Northside Park, Weisser Park, Swinney, Shoaff Park and Tillman Parks. In fact, the east portion of Swinney Park has a 12-Hole Disc Golf Course while the west part is home to an 18-Hole Disc Golf Course.
