In addition to these seasonal delights, preschoolers can also join Messy Movin' Munchkins, a class that encourages movement and creativity, allowing kids to get active while making a bit of a mess—all in the name of fun and learning! For the musically inclined, Music Makers is a perfect fit. This class lets young children explore rhythm, instruments and simple songs, fostering a love for music from an early age.

Older kids, ages nine to 14 have their own set of engaging classes to look forward to. Passion for Pottery is a standout, offering budding artists the chance to get their hands dirty while learning the basics of pottery. This class not only teaches technical skills but also provides a wonderful outlet for creativity and self-expression.

The excitement doesn’t end at the Community Center location. The Sports Sampler sessions held at Franke Park, feature a variety of sports, to help kids ages two to four discover new interests and hone their athletic skills. For those who love tennis or want to learn, Youth Tennis Lessons, held at Northside Park, are a fantastic option. Kids can learn the fundamentals of tennis in a supportive environment, helping them develop both their skills and a love for the game.

Kids ages one and a half to 12 can tumble, flip, and balance their way through fun and challenging Gymnastics exercises held at Gymnastics in Motion. These classes are great for building strength, coordination, and confidence. Meanwhile, aspiring dancers ages 5-14 can head over to Starz Dance Academy for Hip Hop Dance classes. These energetic sessions let kids express themselves through movement while learning the latest hip hop moves.

The season wouldn’t be complete without a special event, and the Halloween Haunt at the Community Center on October 19, is sure to be a highlight. This event promises a night of spooktacular fun with a variety of activities, games and delicious food for purchase. It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids and families to celebrate Halloween in a safe and festive environment.
