Visitors can immerse themselves in the charm of farm life, with a wide array of activities and attractions that capture the spirit of the American farm. The Highland Cows, Valais Blacknose Sheep, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, pigs and others will be on display, offering a chance for children and adults alike to interact with some of the animals that are so important to farm life. The festival also includes wagon rides, a favorite among guests, allowing them to tour the park and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
Children will have plenty to keep them entertained, with a maze and activities designed just for them. The barrel train rides are sure to be a hit, providing a fun and unique way for kids to explore the park. Beyond the children's activities, the festival will also showcase traditional farming practices such as wheat threshing, saw milling, corn shredding, and rock crushing. These demonstrations offer a glimpse into the hard work and innovation that have been part of farming for generations. Antique farm equipment will also be on display, providing a look at farming tools of the past.
Saturday brings even more excitement with additional attractions. A Farmers’ Market will be open, offering fresh produce and goods, while the Frisbee Dogs will entertain the crowd with their impressive tricks. The Tractor Parade is a sight to behold, featuring a variety of tractors that reflect the history and evolution of farming. Children will be delighted by pony rides and face painting—both available for a small fee.
In addition to the activities, there will be food, flowers and pumpkins for sale, allowing visitors to take a piece of the harvest home with them. The festival offers something for everyone, whether it's a love of animals, an interest in farming or just a desire to enjoy a beautiful fall day outdoors.
