On December 7, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., families can come together to celebrate the magic of the holidays at Christmas on the Farm. This event is packed with festive fun, making it the perfect way to kick off the season.
One of the highlights of the event is a visit with Santa Claus. Kids can share their Christmas wishes and snap a picture with the jolly man himself. For those who love animals, the farm will showcase its friendly farm animals. Visitors can stop by to see the goats, sheep, cows and other furry friends that call Salomon Farm home. Crafty kids will also have the chance to get creative with holiday-themed crafts. These hands-on activities are a fun way for children to explore their imagination while making something special to take home.
The event wouldn’t be complete without the sound of holiday music filling the air. Live performance from Mike Conley will keep spirits high as guests explore all the event has to offer. The festive tunes set the perfect backdrop for the afternoon. Christmas shopping is another must at Christmas on the Farm. Local vendors will offer a variety of gifts, decorations and treats. Shoppers can find unique items for loved ones or maybe something to add a bit more holiday cheer to their own homes. Food concessions will also be available for purchase from the Lions Club.
For those looking for a bit of adventure, horse-drawn wagon rides will be available, courtesy of the DeKalb Co. Horsemen’s Association. These scenic rides are a unique way to take in the beauty of Salomon Farm Park during the holiday season. There’s something truly special about riding through the park, bundled up in the crisp December air.
Admission to this holiday wonderland is just $5 per car, making it an affordable way to enjoy the season with family and friends. Whether it’s meeting Santa, shopping for gifts or simply soaking in the holiday cheer, there’s something for everyone at Christmas on the Farm.
