Veterans Day Golf

Foster and McMillen Park Golf Courses
Veterans and active military personnel play FREE at Foster Park and McMillen Park Golf Courses on Veterans Day. Military ID is required and electric carts are not included.
Botanica Jones: “Botanica Jones: Scientist, Merchant or Thief?”
LAST WEEK! Open through November 17
Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun St.
At this garden exhibit in the Botanical Conservatory, guests can visit a wealthy Englishman’s garden, showcasing plants brought back by “Botanica Jones,” a plant explorer of the late 1800s through early 1900s. Visitors can decide whether they have the passion to join these botanical elite. The “Botanica Jones” exhibit is sponsored by the English Bonter Mitchell Foundation, the Flora Dale Krouse Foundation, the Wilson Foundation, the M. E. Raker Foundation, WAJI Majic 95.1 and PBS 39.
