“Under the Big Top” Winter Showcase Exhibit

Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 South Calhoun Street
Come one, come all to the greatest circus Garden in town! The “Under the Big Top” exhibit continues at the Botanical Conservatory. Marvel at exotic topiary animals and astonishing plant oddities. This winter, everyone is invited to go to the circus and “clown around” under the Conservatory’s Botanical Big Top. Learn more at botanicalconservatory.org. Book sales are open to the public and feature hardback books for $1, paperback books for 50¢ and DVDs for $1. Other items such as magazines, cards, CDs and puzzles are also available. Donations of these items are accepted year-round.
Sweetheart Orchid Display
February 8 to March 13, Public hours
Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 South Calhoun Street
A tasteful display of orchids in bloom create a delightfully intimate space in the Botanical Conservatory’s Tropical Garden. Find yourself as part of a complimentary backdrop with striking Cattleyas, fragrant Dendrobiums, dainty Oncidiums and moth-like Phalaenopsis. Orchids and other memorable plants will be available for purchase in the Conservatory Shop. It’s just the place for a date and an ideal photo opportunity with your sweetheart! This display is included with regular Conservatory admission.

Yoga on the Riverfront

Enjoy a free session of yoga inside the Park Foundation Pavilion which overlooks the St. Marys River. This relaxing, one-hour flow is for all skill levels and led by instructor Chelsea Vona, owner of Discover Yoga.
Sunday Heritage Concert Series

Experience local musical groups in the Park Foundation Pavilion. The February 13, concert will feature the American Legion Band of Fort Wayne. This band was founded over a hundred years ago in Fort Wayne by veterans of World War I. The band has energetic members who enjoy playing their instruments to entertain a crowd. Directed by Eli Arnold, this lively band will play a selection of marches, popular show tunes, classic big band, and swing music from the 20th century. This free Valentine’s concert will include songs sure to make your heart happy! Concerts are free and open to all ages. Seating inside will be on a first-come first-served basis and capacity will vary by performance.
