Salomon Farm Park Welcomes Two Highland Mini Calves and Three Nigerian Goats

Fort Wayne, Ind—Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation announces five additions to its historic Salomon Farm Park. Two Highland mini calves and three Nigerian dwarf kid goats join the thriving goats, pigs, miniature horse, rabbits and chickens which make their home at this beautiful landmark working farm and park.

Manager of Salmon Farm, Outdoor Recreation & Boating Eden Lamb notes “Salomon has a unique atmosphere as a farm. Being able to interact with the animals in this setting reinforces its timeless beauty and the wonder at the relationship we have built with the animals.”

To celebrate the arrival, Salomon will host special meet and greet sessions by appointment with the new Highland Calves on Saturday, May 13. Be among the first to interact with Frankie and Mickey. Each private session will include 30 minutes of exclusive interaction with the calves for up to four people. Brush, feed, pet and take pictures of your visit with your cell phone. Following your session each person in your party will receive a delicious custom Highland Calf cupcake.
