Fort Wayne, Ind – Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation announces that applications are being accepted for the 2023 Albert G. Jennings Scholarship now through 5:00 p.m. on May 26, 2023. Scholarship amounts up to $500 will be awarded by the Jennings Center Advisory Council based on scholastic achievements, school and community involvement, written essay and interview. Applicants will be required to complete a total of 20 hours of community service at the Jennings Center during the summer of 2023.
The scholarship is named after Albert G. Jennings, a longtime supervisor and director of the McCulloch Center which is now the Jennings Recreation Center. The scholarship was named for Mr. Jennings was a tribute to his leadership and unwavering support of youth.
