Travel Fort Wayne’s rivers on Sweet Breeze, an authentic 1840 canal boat replica. This fully accessible tour provides an opportunity to learn something new about Fort Wayne through its riverfront. Choose 90 minute or 45 minute cruise options on weekends. Tickets are $30 per person for a 90-minute cruise, and $20 per person for 45-minute cruise. Family Fishing Day

North Dock, Promenade Park, 202 West Superior Street
Take advantage of Indiana DNR’s Free Fishing Days at Promenade Park! Poles and lessons on fishing will be provided for the whole family on the North Dock. Drop a line and stay awhile. No experience is needed. All fishing equipment will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
Kids’ Fishing Derby
Saturday, June 3, 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.
Hurshtown Reservoir, 16000 Roth Road, Grabill
Fishing is a favorite Hoosier pastime that fosters patience, coordination and an appreciation for nature. Please join us for the 35th Annual Kids’ Fishing Derby at the pristine Hurshtown Reservoir. The derby is open to children ages 16 and younger. An adult must accompany all contestants. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish caught in five categories (by age). Each participant may enter only one fish. The grand prize will go to the child that catches the biggest fish overall. On-site registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Fishing begins at 8:00 a.m. and continues until the weigh-in at 11:00 a.m.. Awards will be at 11:30 a.m. Contestants must be present to win. You will need to supply your own bait, tackle and bucket to hold your fish. Because this is a free fishing day, no fishing licenses are required! This contest is catch and release only. Admission to Hurshtown is $5 per car. The derby is free to participate.
Dance Promenade and Tulip Tree Present: Ecstatic Dance

The Full Moon Ecstatic Dance, put on by the Tulip Tree Production Team, is a 90-minute freeform movement journey facilitated by a professional DJ. Lose yourself to the rhythm and move freely wherever the music takes you. Join us on the Auer Lawn for this FREE community event.

44th Annual Senior Games
Kick-off June 5 at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until July 6

The goal of the Senior Games is to promote the benefits of remaining active and physically fit and to encourage all adults over age 50 to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Festivities will start with an opening breakfast and health fair along with the torch lighting ceremony on Monday, June 5 at the Fort Wayne Community Center. Most events require little or no experience, and although some of the events are more strenuous, like pickleball, there are many choices that people of all physical abilities can participate in, such as card games, shuffleboard, timed jigsaw puzzles and billiards. Registrations are accepted two business days prior to events, and each registration costs $2. The 44th Annual Senior Games is sponsored by: Parkview Heart Institute, Indiana Donor Network, WANE 15, HoneyBaked Ham, WOWO 92.3 FM 1190 AM, United HealthCare, American Senior Communities, Park Place Senior Living and IU Health.

Live butterflies have landed at the Botanical Conservatory bringing with them an array of natural beauty and wonder. Watch in awe, their wings in flight, as they flash with color pigments and refracted light. Observe exotic butterflies emerging from their chrysalides right before your eyes! An epic display of multicolored flowers and foliage elevates this annual spring exhibit. Trek the Trails

The 2023 Trek the Trails season continues on Tuesday evenings. Meet at the Plex North for a 7.3 mile bike ride. There is no cost to participate. All experience levels are welcome and participation is at your own risk. Riders are encouraged to wear helmets.
