Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation offices to be closed in recognition of Juneteenth
Fort Wayne, Ind – The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation offices will be closed on Monday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth. The Community Youth Centers, McMillen Park Community Center and the Lifetime Sports Academy will also be closed.
Day Camps, Park & Play, Johnny Appleseed Campground and the McMillen Aquatic Center will be open for normal operations. The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Community Center athletic, preschool classes and PODS will also continue on Monday, however the other activities at the Community Center will be suspended for the day.
The Parks offices will reopen on Tuesday, June 21.
