Confluence Kitchen: Oktoberfest Continued!

Friday, October 6, 5:00–9:00 p.m.

Park Foundation Pavilion, Promenade Park, 202 West Superior Street

Revisit Oktoberfest in October for Confluence Kitchen! Spend an evening learning about German culture from the German Heritage Society through food and different activities. Yoga on the Riverfront

This free, relaxing one-hour flow yoga class is designed for all skill levels and led by owner of Discover Yoga, Chelsea Vona. Bring your own yoga mat to Promenade Park or borrow one for the class.

 

 

Intro to Hula Hoop Dance

Join Julia Hyndman in this hula hoop workshop for beginners. This free all-ages class will cover the basics to begin your hula hoop journey. Sunday Heritage Concert Series

The American Legion Band of Fort Wayne presents a Polka Fest program. Concerts are free and open to all ages. Seating will be on a first come first served basis.

 

 

Be Your Own Artist: Mask Making

Sunday, October 15, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Park Foundation Pavilion, Promenade Park, 202 West Superior Street

Come and unmask the artist in you! Make a full-face mask with Carole Gordon, a studio artist who specializes in fabric-based mixed media collages. Carole will guide us through the experience of revealing one of our varied faces—step by step using an array of fabrics in different colors, prints and embellishments. All materials will be provided to create a fabric collage mask. This class is designed for ages 18+. Pre-registration is required as the class has a limited number of spaces. Dance Promenade: West Coast Swing

Wednesdays, October 18 to November 15

Join us at the Park Foundation Pavilion to learn West Coast Swing with Melissa Culbertson. This is a beginner progressive class that builds on each lesson, so you do not want to miss any of the sessions! On November 15 there will be an open West Coast Swing dance party with modern and classic music to dance the night away. All ages are welcome. Riverfront Halloween Hunt

Start your Fright Night fun at the riverfront! Children ages 5-12 are invited to join in the Halloween Hunt for eerie eggs filled with treats. Every egg is a winner at this not-so-spooky Halloween program. Prize sponsors: Science Central, Sky Zone, Fort Wayne TinCaps, Crazy Pinz, Lazer X, Walmart, and Oh Five Scoop Shop.
