Shoaff Park is the place for family fun this weekend! Enjoy messy games and hands-on crafts or compete in the kids’ fun run or bicycle ride. There will be books to swap, food to eat and animals to pet . . . and toys, crafts and other unique items for sale by their young owners. What’s Happening at the Botanical Conservatory in May 

$1 Night

May 3, 5 – 8 pm

On the first Thursday of the month we offer $1 admissions,5-8 pm, for adults and children. Babies and up to age 2 are still admitted free. Enjoy our evening hours and a special discount once a month. For more info, call(260)427-6440.

CITY CELEBRATES ARBOR DAY BY HONORING  FOSTER PARK 100th ANNIVERSARY

Fort Wayne, IN—Mayor Tom Henry was joined by youths from Crossroad Child and Family Services, Ron Caccamo from Old National Insurance, Carol Cavell from Trees Indiana, Parks & Recreation Director Al Moll and Manager of Forestry Operations Chad Tinkel as they celebrated Arbor Day by planting a tree in Foster Park today.

The Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department’s Main Office will be unable to receive e-mail or phone calls for approximately two hours Friday morning due to road work at the intersection of State and Parnell. The website, www.fortwayneparks.org, will be available for customers to register for classes or purchase concert tickets during the outage.
