Taylor’s Dream Therapy Guides Available

Fort Wayne, Ind--Taylor’s Dream Boundless Playground at Kreager Park has more than just fun to offer children and their families. Starting today, parents, caregivers and therapists for children with disabilities can download therapy guides from www.fortwaynepark.org. With the use of these guides, children will receive targeted therapy while they are playing at Taylor’s Dream.

Memorial Pool Closing August 5

Fort Wayne, Ind—City pools will begin the process of closing over the next two weeks as staff head back to school. Due to this loss of seasonal staff, we will no longer have the number of certified lifeguards needed to safely operate the pools.

Memorial Park Pool will close for the season at 5 pm August 5. Northside Pool will close August 12^th at 5 pm and McMillen Pool will close August 12^th at 7 pm.

Memorial Pool season tickets will be honored at McMillen and Northside Pools through August 12^th, 2012.

Free program has served 21,300 children

Today marked the successful completion of the Lifetime Sports Academy’s 15^th summer with more than 1,300 participants this year and a total of 21,300 participants over the last 15 years. Group lessons in the lifetime sports of golf, tennis and swimming were offered to boys and girls, ages 8 – 18. Lessons focused on skill development.
