Memorial Pool Closed 

Due to mechanical issues with the main pump, Memorial Pool is closed and is not expected to reopen until late in the week.

Northside and McMillen pools remain open every afternoon, and the City’s free splash pads are open 9 am–9pm.

Family Fun Day

Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun Street

Have fun at the Conservatory during theThreeRiver’s Festival! Make crafts, get a balloon animal, and win prizes at games of skill and chance. Enjoy lunch or a snack at ourFood Court, where hot dogs and other items will be available for 50¢. Your fun time will include a bubble dance party, giant slide, moonwalk, and inflatable paddle pond (some height and/or age restrictions may apply). No reservations required; regular admission applies. A responsible adult must accompany children. Regular Conservatory admission applies. Wear your TRF button to receive an admission discount. Foster Park’s 100th Year Celebration – July 27 & 28

Fort Wayne, Ind—Due to storm damage in the park, Foster Park’s 100th Year Celebration event scheduled for July 6 and 7 will be postponed until July 27 and 28. The Celebration Golf Scramble scheduled for July 7 is cancelled, with hopes of rescheduling it in September.

Botanical Roots – Cool Tunes, Hot Times!

Fort Wayne, IN: Today Al Moll, Director of the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department and Mitch Sheppard, Manager of the Botanical Conservatory, announced the summer concert series at the Botanical Conservatory. This season the music takes an unusual twist featuring phycho-billy satire, and Cajun music along with the traditional fare of blues, reggae, ska, and rockabilly. 

100 Years of Foster Park

Friday and Saturday, July 6 and 7

Fort Wayne, Ind--Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Al Moll was joined by Friends of the Parks and Southwest Area Neighborhoods today to dedicate the new sign erected at the entrance to Foster Park in commemoration of the park’s 100th anniversary. The sign was made possible by donations from the Fort Wayne Park Foundation, the Kathy Callen & John Powell Fund and John Oldenkamp.
