Muddy River Concert Series
Wednesday, July 10, and 24, 6:00 p.m.

Enjoy live local music on the Riverfront from School of Rock on July 10, and We Are Checkmark on July 24, along with food and drink to purchase from Teds snack + bar at the Promenade Park Café.
(Break) Dance Promenade: Street Style
Tuesdays, July 2 and 16, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Park Foundation Pavilion, Promenade Park, 202 West Superior Street
Kids, teens and adults are welcome to participate in free breakdancing classes. ICNH is a professional dance crew that focuses on spreading an awareness and love of street dance and its many styles. Crew member Sockie Phommachanh will lead participants in a variety of forms like Krump, Breaking, Popping, Vogue, Hip Hop and many more. Please register by the Tuesday prior to classes online at www.FortWayneParks.org. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available.
Storytime in the Park

Join Allen County Public Library on Wednesday mornings for fresh air and children’s literature at Promenade Park. Sessions will be held under the awning of the Park Foundation Pavilion. No pre-registration is required for these free story sessions.
Sweet Breeze Tours
Thursdays, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. (60 minute tour), 7:15 – 8:15 p.m. (60 minute tour)
Saturdays, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. (90-minute tour), 2:45 – 3:30 p.m. (45-minute tour)
Sundays, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. (90 minute tour), 2:45 – 3:30 p.m. (45-minute tour)
South Dock Promenade Park, 202 West Superior Street
Travel Fort Wayne’s rivers on Sweet Breeze, an authentic 1840 canal boat replica. This fully accessible tour provides an opportunity to learn something new about Fort Wayne through its riverfront. Choose 90, 60 or 45 minute cruise options. Tickets are $30 per person for a 90-minute cruise, $23 for a 60 minute tour and $20 per person for 45-minute cruise. Reservations can be made online at www.RideSweetBreeze.org, in person at the Parks and Recreation Offices (705 East State Blvd.) or by phone 260-427-6000 during normal business hours. Bioswale Tour
Friday, July 12, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Auer Lawn
Learn what a bioswale is and how the Promenade Bioswale benefits the park, including how it infiltrates and filters storm water before it goes into our rivers and other benefits to our area. Superintendent of Landscape and Horticulture Eric Ummel with Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation will lead this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about how Promenade Park helps protect our rivers and wildlife.
Heartland Sings Opera
Wednesday, July 17 and Friday, July 19, 7:00 p.m.

Heartland Sings is a nonprofit, vocal music production company based in Fort Wayne, IN. Join them at Promenade Park for one or two free shows in July.
Be Your Own Artist: Fused Glass Votive Candle Holder
Thursday, July 25, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Promenade Park, Park Foundation Pavilion, 202 West Superior Street
It’s back by popular demand! Create your own 6” x 6” fused glass votive candle holder. Choose the glass colors to incorporate into your design while local artist Emily Simpson of Sol Eye Glass guides you through the glass piecing process. Your project will be fired in a kiln and ready to pick up at the Parks and Recreation Department beginning on August 12. This class is designed for ages 18 and above. Park Foundation Pavilion
Kick and punch your way through a great workout at this free monthly exercise class. Instructors will lead participants in a calorie burning journey like no other. No pre-registration is needed.
Yoga on the Riverfront

This free, relaxing one-hour flow yoga class is designed for all skill levels and led by owner of Discover Yoga, Chelsea Vona. Bring your own yoga mat to Promenade Park or borrow one for the class. No pre-registration is needed.

Saxophonist Quincy Sanders brings the sounds of blues and jazz with touches of a variety of other genres to Riverfront Fort Wayne. The presentation is free and open to all ages. Seating will be on a first come first served basis.
