Promenade Park
Enjoy live local music at the Riverfront this summer along with food and beverages from Teds Snack + Bar. Experience a unique, energetic blend of soul pop with Six Foot Blonde on July 9 and return for an electrifying alt-rock/funk band Kangaroo Kourt on July 23.
K-Pop Random Dance Play
Friday, July 18, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Old National Bank Plaza at Promenade Park
In partnership with Korea Festival Fort Wayne, get ready to gather in the Old National Bank Plaza and showcase your dance skills on the spot with K-Pop Random Dance Play! Whether you’re a K-Pop super fan or just love to dance, this is the perfect activity to get out and get active! This program is free and open to all ages.
River Rangers: We Love to Rock!

Park Foundation Pavilion at Promenade Park
Hey River Rangers, do you like rocks and minerals? Join other like-minded rangers in a fun day of geological discovery at Promenade Park! Learn about the different rocks and minerals that make up the ground beneath our feet, as well as what can be found throughout the Midwest area. Enjoy interactive games and an interactive experiment where you get to build your very own crystal! River Rangers is designed for ages 5-12, however all ages are welcome. Register online or by calling (260) 427-6000 by July 7. Walk-ins will be welcome while space is available (by credit card only).
Color the Park
Fridays, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. until July 25
Promenade Park
Calling all artists! Join us on the riverfront for this interactive chalk art activity, where the community is invited to grab some chalk and bring the park to life with color. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just want to doodle for fun, everyone is welcome to take part in transforming the walkways into a masterpiece. As you create, enjoy music and grab your favorite snack and beverage from Teds Snack and Bar! This event is free and open to all ages. This activity will not be available on Friday, July 4.
Dance Promenade: Caribbean Festival
Monday, July 14 and August 18, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Park Foundation Pavilion
Dance Promenade is back again featuring not one, not two, but three different dance styles throughout the summer! Each session will feature different styles of dance giving you the chance to learn a little bit of everything this summer. Try out one or all of these styles of dance as we bring a little flare and fun this summer. Register online or by calling 260-427-6000 by the Tuesday prior to each class. Walk-ins are welcome if space is available (credit card only). Fee: $10 in advance or $12 walk-in.

Ticket Sales Available for Sweet Breeze Canal Boat Tours
Plan to travel Fort Wayne’s rivers on Sweet Breeze, the 1840’s canal boat replica this summer. History tours have begun and are offered on weekends and a few weeknights. Saturday Specialty Tours include fan favorites like Irish Folk Music on July 12 and Water Quality Activism on July 19 as well as other themes throughout the season including some with live music and refreshments. The fully accessible tours provide opportunities to learn something new about Fort Wayne through its riverfront. Choose 90-minute, 60-minute or 45-minute cruise options. Ticket prices range between $15 to $30 for history tours depending on length and day of the week. Specialty tours are priced based on the tour. Reservations can be made online at www.RideSweetBreeze.org, in person at the Parks and Recreation Offices (705 East State Blvd.) or by phone 260-427-6000 during normal business hours.
Summer Storytime in the Park

Join us on the riverfront for Storytime with the Allen County Public Library followed by a craft or activity led by Riverfront Fort Wayne staff. All ages are welcome and it’s free!
Kickboxing with 9Round
Sunday, July 13, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Kick and punch your way through a great workout at this free monthly exercise class. Instructors will lead participants in a calorie burning journey like no other.
Yoga on the Riverfront

This free, relaxing one-hour flow yoga class is designed for all skill levels and led by owner of Discover Yoga, Chelsea Vona. Bring your own yoga mat to Promenade Park or borrow one for the class.
Heartland Sings ART-V Performances

Auer Lawn at Promenade Park
Enjoy an evening of music from Heartland Sings where they’ll bring a mix of fun favorites from oldies to jazz to pop and more! These concerts are free to attend… just bring a lawn chair and a friend!
The American Legion Band of Fort Wayne: Radio Show
Sunday, July 13, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Park Foundation Pavilion at Promenade Park
The ‘Live Radio Show’ returns to Promenade Park! This free performance is a labor of love for the American Legion Band musicians. Complete with commercials, jingles, music and sound effects, the American Legion band will give you a ‘behind the scenes look’ at radio history while playing your favorite patriotic tunes.
