Fort Wayne, Ind. – Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation will begin constructing a new restroom building near the Johnny Appleseed Park playground on or around Monday, July 29. This project has been highly anticipated by park visitors and it will help create more convenience, especially for families using the playground area.

Due to the amount of construction activity, and in consideration of park visitor safety, the Johnny Appleseed playground will be closed for the duration of this work. The restroom installation is anticipated to be completed in October.
