Fort Wayne, Ind. — The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department invites citizens to three upcoming FREE Community and Family Engagement Nights. Be part of a community safety forum then enjoy a light meal along with games and prizes for the kids. These events are great opportunities for neighbors to meet and greet with each other as well as engage with some Fort Wayne Police Department officers. The discussion topic for these events is “Keeping Our Youth Safe: Vaping, Sexting, Police Interaction, Apps and More” as the gatherings are aimed at giving parents and caregivers more awareness and a better understanding of what our youth are faced with and what they can do to help keep them safe.
