Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Honored with NIPSCO 2020 Luminary Award

Fort Wayne, Ind. – NIPSCO honored the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department as one of the recipients of the company’s virtual 2020 Luminary Awards, recognizing leaders and organizations for their outstanding commitment to strengthening local communities, especially during these most trying times as many organizations that work hard to provide basic human needs are facing challenges of their own.
Fort Wayne Park Spraygrounds Closing for Season Oct. 4

Fort Wayne, Ind. – As we prepare for autumn and colder temperatures, the City’s nine spraygrounds (including the Doermer Kid’s Canal at Promenade Park) will be turned off for the season after their normal operating hours on Sunday, October 4.
