Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone

At the age of fifteen, Peter Noone achieved international fame as “Herman,” lead singer of the legendary pop band Herman’s Hermits. His classic hits include: “I’m Into Something Good”, “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter”, “I’m Henry VIII, I Am” and “There’s A Kind of Hush” among many moreUltimately, Herman’s Hermits sold over fifty-two million recordings. In all, fourteen singles and seven albums achieved gold status. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Parks and Recreation Department, 705 East State Blvd. during regular office hours or at the Foellinger Theatre Box Office from 6:00 –10:00 p.m. on concert days.

Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation offices to be closed in recognition of Independence Day

 

Fort Wayne, Ind – The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in recognition of Independence Day. All day camps, Lifetime Sports Academy programming and the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Community Center will also be closed.

Ground is Broken for Franke Park Renaissance  

 Phase One of Master Plan to Improve and Expand Park Experiences

 

Fort Wayne, Ind –Mayor Tom Henry, Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Steve McDaniel, community leaders, funding partners along with Indiana Department of Natural Resources (INDR) and Great Lakes Commission representatives celebrated the beginning of phase one of the Franke Park Renaissance Master Plan with a ground-breaking ceremony.
